Kraft Die Cut Cards

Months ago I found this amazing treat bag tutorial and couldn't wait to use it myself.  Check out Pamela O'Connor's Blog, Reflections of my Art & Soul to see her tutorial and great treat bag idea.

Here's my spin of her project using CTMH Kraft Die Cut Cards (D1474). First lay the die cut card out, noticing that it is longer than 12 inches.  Flip the card over keeping the die cut edge tucked in and lay inside side down on your Cricuit 12 x 12 cutting mat.  I used the Cricut scraper to securely place the card to the mat so it won't slip.

Load the mat into the Cricut, using the Cricut Art Philosophy Collection (Z1686) exclusive to CTMH, select oval #3 and set your cut size to 2 1/2 inches.
Next set the Cricut Left/Right to 1 3/4 and the In/Out to 11/16 and you're ready to cut.
Repeat with your favorite cardstock. I've used Elemental Level 2 Paper Packet (X7141B).  Cut the cardstock 6 x 12 inches and cut. Score kraft die cut card 1 inch on each side of the card center fold and the cut paper the same, then adhere.
For the top piece, the paper measurements are 1 1/4 x 6 inches.
The sentiment used is  CTMH December 25th stamp set (C1469)
I also decorated the inside of the treat bag holder with coordinating cardstock so when the treats are gone it makes a great holiday card.
