July SOTM Blog Hop "Live Out Loud"

I'm so excited......there's only a few more days until convention starts!  This time of the year is so busy, so I made this project a few months ago, just so I could be ready.  This month's featured stamp set is "Live Out Loud"" S1207.  If you are coming here from Katy Taylor's Blog you're on the right path.....and if you get lost along the way go to Helen Onulak's Blog for a full list of hoppers.

For my club's altered project last month we made this cute mini-card box.  The box was found at Micheal's in the $1 bin.  I painted it white and covered it with the Dotty For You paper packet, added some ribbon and blue stickles and its done.   And don't forget about embossing the sentiment "Soar" with white embossing powder, it really makes this project pop.
The cards are quick and easy.  Cut, score, fold, add the ribbon and sentiment and you're done.
The box holds six cards/tags and 6 envelopes.
Other products used are the CTMH Cricut AP cartridge, Spot On Background (retired), white daisy cardstock (Z2163) and Lagoon Ink (Z2195).
For the butterflies' antenna I used black beading wire, cool, isn't it?
Now "Hop" on over to Doreen Guilfoyle's Blog and see her work!

Studio J Homework Layout 5

Finally, I have a minute to post this last layout for the Studio J Convention homework.  Sorry for the delay....I took the week off from work last week to wrap up preparation for Convention and time slipped right past me.  I must admit, I loved staying home all day and playing in my craft room, even with the pressure it was still much, much better than going to WORK!
Here is a close up on page one and below is a close up of page two.
Even though I'm back to work, I still prepping for the Big Day in Dallas, please be patient, I promise once I'm done and I get there, I will be bombarding my blog with all kinds of pictures of new and fun goodies.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

Studio J Homework Layout Four

I promise I didn't forget about previewing the Studio J layouts.  I've been really busy preparing for Convention in Dallas coming in July.  I been a stamping hostage to my craft room for the past five days, which is a nice thing :).  Now, I can't show what I'm working on since its Top Secret, yep I'm one of the lucky ones selected to present at Extravaganza in Dallas this year. On one hand, its so exciting working with the new products coming out in the Fall/Winter 2012 Close To My Heart Idea Book, and on the other, its very hard not being able to share the experience with anyone.  Its crunch time now, I have to have everything done and ready to ship out next Monday.

So for now you can check out close ups of the pages.  Sorry for the short post, but I need to get back in my room......almost done for the night :)
