What did you do this weekend?

Hi everyone....I can't believe it is Sunday night already.  I'm finally getting time to catch up on my blog and to update my class calendar.  As I sit here I wonder where did the time go?  Then I realized it was a busy weekend for sure....and I thought I'd share it with you.....
On Friday.....I attended a POW Memorial Service.
Later that evening I worked on this Bumble Bee sign for the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Special Project.  This year's project is breast cancer.  The Ladies Auxiliary will take this sign and 9 more to District to support this year's cause.
Next I made 22 of 150 3.25 inch bumble bees which we will sell to raise money for the breast cancer project.
Saturday was the best day of the weekend.  Me and my hubby got to spend some time with Beth....She's so tiny, I've never held a baby that little before, its pretty intense.
Isn't she adorable.....4 days old, and let me tell you, she stole my heart in the first minutes of her life on Wednesday.
And on Sunday we went to a surprise birthday party for a dear friend from high school.  Her 40th!!!
This wrapping paper is fabulous!  I quickly put together the gift tag right before we left for the party.
Oh, I almost forgot....on Saturday I started working on some Halloween themed items for my Card's Plus class for October.  Earlier that morning we went to the Avenues.....and I found these really cute candy tins and mini bottles of wine at World Market and I couldn't resist.

I have never really realize just how much of my life revolves around paper crafting until this evening.  It is truly a passion that I love and that I love to share.  I also got in one more project, but I can't share it today....a hint:  its for the SOTM blog hop on October 1st.
Have a great week.  Check back tomorrow to see some more Halloween goodies I put together last year that I have displayed around my home and some new ones that will be displayed later this week.
