May SOTM Blog Hop

Happy May everyone!  May....already!  Convention is right around the corner....I don't know about my fellow sister consultants, but I'm getting so excited...I can hardly stand it!  This month's featured stamp set is "Pinwheel", now let's get started.....we have 63 Consultants participating this month....make sure you hop through and see them all and don't forget to leave your comments to show your appreciation, it really means the world to have your input :).   If you are coming here from Brae Montgomery's Blog you're on the right path.....and if you get lost along the way, its easy to get back on track, just go to Helen Onulak's Blog for a full list of hoppers.
I heart making altered items...so I began by sorting through my mad stash of containers.  When I saw this stamp set all I could think of was dressing up some lollipops and I needed a container that could hold those pops.
I've been hording these My Creations Kraft Containers since August, just waiting for that perfect idea to come to mind.
And...last week when my preview of Dream Pop arrived I fell in love with this paper and I couldn't resist using it for this month's hop!  First, I covered the container with an assortment of the Dream Pop paper line, wow....it's so cheerful and the embossed papers are FABULOUS!!!!

Check out the detail on embossed cardstock.  Dream Pop comes with 12 B&T Duos Papers and 12 embossed cardstock pieces.  Exclusive colors for this packet are:  Banana, Grey, Mint, Raspberry, Strawberry, and Tangerine.  What yummy colors!

The tag really adds that special touch.
I had these lollipops I picked up at Micheal's for a workshop and thought, how cute would it be to sandwich them in between the pinwheel pieces?  When the lollies are gone the container will be a great keepsake or it can be used again for another special someone :)

  11. Fabulous project! Love all your little details that really make it a great looking project. Favorite detail is how you used the 'stick' to stamp some texture on the sentiment tag.
