Stamp of the Month Blog Hop October 2015 "Twinkle"

Hi everyone....thanks for stopping by!  I'm so excited to be participating in the SOTM Blog hop....it's been way to long and I've really missed that special connection we all have with one another :) I can honestly say...I'm unsure where the month of September went...but I'm so welcoming October and some cooler weather for sure.  If you're coming here from Jen Armstrong's Blog you're on the right path...yeah!  October's stamp set is titled "Twinkle" as a reminder that Christmas is right around the corner...and the perfect time to start creating those special gifts for all those wonderful people in your life.

Here is an up close picture of the stamp set....

I decided to make this cute box that can be used for almost anything and is perfect for those quick gifts at the holiday season.  I'm going to complete the project with gift tags...I'd love to keep it for myself...but I'll share :)

I loved creating the background paper using the second generation stamping technique.
The "Trim the Tree" image is a velum overlay added to colonial white cardstock by using a few drops of liquid glass.
Now hop on over to Donna Bigsby's Blog and check out her amazing art! Thanks for stopping by and stay inky my friends.

  4. What a cute little book box. I love the layers on your "Merry Everything" cricut cut. And all your little embellishments really make this box. I'd have a hard time giving something so cute away.
