What am I currently working on?
Well....the questions should be "what am I not working on?".... you know exactly what I'm talking about, lol! I am so excited to be apart of Karen Morris' Awesome Artist Swap....and I'm under the gun to get my mini swap cards done and in the mail by December 17th...or was it the 15th..yikes....
I chose the Heartstrings paper line by Close To My Heart...that's going live to all on December 1st ...here's a sneak peek of just a few of the items available in the Seasonal Expressions.
Now...I can't preview my swap cards...but I can give you a tiny glimpse...
I'm also scrambling to get my Christmas cards done before the 1st!
I just fell in love with these super cute Penny Black and Stampendouse elf stamps

What is my signature style?
Hummmm..... It would have to be layering things up...the more layers the better...I say.....and don't forget the bling...you can never have too much glitter or embellishments in my book. How do I become inspired and stay inspired?
I get most of my best ideas when I lay down to sleep at night....I'm very slow when creating...its a process...work a little, then take a break. I can't fall asleep right-a-way, so my mind starts working...instead of thinking about my day, work, and all that other stuff...fun and fantastic ideas pop into my head on how to finish that started project, a special feature for a new one...or some new technique I'd like to try...you never know what will happen. That's what I really love about this hobby....its always a surprise when you see the end result. How does my creative process work?
What process...When I sit down to start a project, I start by finding one element that I like...a stamp set image....an embellishment...a paper line...or a found object. I start from there.... no rhyme or reason. Really! Happy little accidents are the best! I have never been a planner...one of those artists that lay everything out, and develop their projects in their mind or on a computer...I just jump in feet first and whatever happens, happens....Its therapy...let loose, no restrictions, no rules...just PLAY...let that inner child out!So know that you know a little bit about my creative process, I would love to hear about you!
