Pro Player Mini Album & Mini Tutorial

Hello my inky friends!  Today I want to share with you this cute little mini album I did for my daddy's birthday!  Now I know the new Artbooking Cartridge has not gone live yet, but I couldn't resist showing this off.  Did you know with the new cartridge you can make mini albums?  Yes....and at any size you want!  This mini is the 7x5 Top Secret Album from pages 42 and 43.  The album in the booklet is set up for 7x5 inches....well I wanted a smaller version...so I set my dial at 4.5 inches and created this very cute album, which holds family pictures, envelopes, tags and gift cards!

This post has a lot of pictures so grab a cup of your favorite beverage and enjoy.  I have included a small tutorial at the end of the post on how to make the book binding and binding cover for the album. I've also put all the info on how you can get a copy of the kit or a cutting and assembly guide of your own.
Can you believe I made this entire album with just one key?  I know.....AMAZING!!!!
 Cover before adding binding cover.
Folder 1 was used for pages 1 & 2.  I used the "Photo Mat 1" key.  Remember it is at 4.5 inches.
Next the space between the book binding sections creates additional pages between the folders....so this will be pages 3 & 4.
For the next folder I used "Photo Mat 1" using the shift key for pages 5 & 6.
Again the spaces created with the book binding adds additional pages....7 & 8.
Repeating the previous pages.... I used "Photo Mat 1" using the shift key
for pages 9 & 10.
 Seeing a pattern here...using the book binding adds additional pages....11 & 12.
And the final folder "Photo Mat 1" for the last two pages....13 & 14.
It's almost hard to believe this 4.5 inch mini album can hold 14 pages!  This album ROCKS!

Now...here is the finished project......

    1. Hi Meredith! Thanks for your kind words and interest in my artwork. You don't have to do anything special to get the kit or instructions. Simply place an order. I will need your email address. Email me so I'll have it. If you want a kit that is cute and ready to assemble with instructions, then place an order of $25. If you only want the assembly instructions, place an order for $15. Please give me a week to get your kit in the mail. Click on the link of your choice at the end of this post. Have a great evening.

  15. Tamra, I am in awe of your talents! Love love love your creations! Thank you for sharing! I will get busy with the Artbooking cartridge; it seems confusing to use. If I want to use the objects like on a card, how do I decide what size to make the objects? Thank you!

    1. Thanks for the lovely words....they mean so much to me! To use the objects on a card, you would use the real dial size button on the left hand side of the key pad. Push that button and set it for what ever size you want an object to be. Hope that helps :)
