Pictures galore of the card created with the Art Philosophy Cartridge. Complete tutorial is at the end of this post, enjoy.
I love all the fun and yummy details of this card.
Select Square 4 from page 53 on the AP Cartridge and set cutting size at 4.5 inches.
Load paper...move cutting blade left/right to 5/16 and in/out at 1/2 inch. Cut first square.
Once square is cut, move the in/out to 6 3/16. Now cut your second square.
Visual display, lol

Repeat the above steps.
Now, the fun part. Cut the inside squares at 4.25 inches. Cut two for each side. Place a piece of twine ( 5.5 inches) down the middle between the two pieces of 4.25 cardstock for the rotation. Next, place the remaining end pieces of twine between the two outer frames, glue and cut off excessive twine if necessary. All that is left is decorating. Have fun. I recommend using liquid glass (less is more) with that stuff...and it makes your projects much sturdier.

ReplyDeleteWonderful Card Tamra. TFS
ReplyDeleteFantastic card. Thank you for sharing. I am going to try this and maybe make an accordian style (4 parts). I have done swing cards in the past and used dental floss between the layers, not as heavy, but very strong.
