Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday Challenge-Chevrons

This is my first post on the Frosted Designs Design Team.  I'm so excited to be a part of this talented group, make sure you hop on over and check out all that talent.
Frosted Designs is the perfect team for me....why you ask?  Well, they are all about designing with what you have and I like that....because I have a lot.  I am new to papercrafting (a little over 3 years now) and when I started, like most of us I bought everything in sight...with so much pretty stuff out there its hard not to, right?
Now, I have a chance to use more of it.... more often :)
Now, let's get started.....This challenge is all about using Chevrons....wow....Chevrons....totally love them!  Now, I like to think outside the box a bit, so I thought I would show how to use chevrons on a project in different ways....this post has a lot of pictures to look at, plus a bonus project and a video, so grab a cup of your favorite beverage and enjoy.
Here's my project.
The display tray is from Close To My Heart and I've been saving it since July, just waiting for the right moment to use it.  My friend Kathi moved here from Tennessee in December and for this challenge I decided to use the tray as a gift for her daughter, Brandi. I'm an Independent Consultant for Close To My Heart and they introduced a new paper line this Spring/Summer Idea Book called "For Always" and it has a B&T paper of chevrons, how lucky!

Chevron #1:  Used for a rosette.
Chevron #2:  Used here on the banner
Chevron #3:  Used here as an embellishment (hexagon)
Chevron #4:  Used here as a background.

Here we are with Brandi proudly showing off her gift.

This workshop project is ideal for creating as a group or on your own and takes approximately 1 hour to complete.
